Hi, I'm Andy, and I create puzzle books under the LOGICALABS brand.

The puzzle book market is full of marketing fluff - loud claims about "brain boosting" and "cognitive health." I'd love to tell you that puzzling will make you a genius or prevent mental decline, but the truth is: the evidence for that isn't strong.

Still, I believe puzzling is worthwhile - for a simpler, more honest reason: it feels good.

Filling gaps, finding structure, solving a bounded, low-stakes problem - that's what our brains naturally enjoy. Not a miracle cure. Just a pleasant, satisfying experience.
